Sarawakians travel in Sarawak

Leon & King Hung came to Kuching for 4 days trip(13 Dec-16 Dec).Lols, one more time Matthew, Faye and I became tour guides after the first time when we brought YH, Jamie, Keili and Chin Nam around Kuching. Leon, from Miri came to Kuching before but only visited a few places; King Hung, from Sibu has come to Kuching quite a lot of time. So, I have really no idea where to bring them to.

Day 1----From the waterfront, we took the small boat to the opposite side.RM0.50 per person 1 way, foreigners RM1. From there, we followed the signboard to Fort Magherita. It is at a quite deserted area where we need to walk into a Kampong, into a jungle, pass through a horse,
,saw an area of rubble, walk pass a lake to reach the place.
Well, everyone is wearing black shirt to show respect....lols!

We had dinner at Top spot food court, SEAFOOD. We ordered dried chili bamboo clamps, oyster pancake, butter prawn, vegetables, tofu soup, and steam stone stripe fish, RM130 in total. The price is quite ok for the place which is built especially for seafood lovers on the top of the car park building. After dinner, we had a brisk walk in Tun Jugah, visited Faye’s house too!!! Her house is as big as a castle; we had a good time drinking wine in her house. We played drawing cards game, which will determine how much wine should we drink. My face turns red after the game, Lols! These are the wines we were drinking. This is a Coffee Liqueur, tastes quite nice. Anyone who likes coffee must drink this.Leon likes it a lot. This is a wine with 19% alcohol contain. This is a wine with 21% alcohol contain.
This is the only wine we have not tried, it is new. The packaging looks nice.

Day 2----Laksa at Chong Chon Cafe were our breakfast. Then, we visited several museums—Sarawak Museum , Tun Abdul Razak Museum, Art Museum, Islamic Museum. We had lunch at Viva Café. The place sucks, lols! We watched the movie “The day the Earth Stood Still”, it is quite an OK movie for me, not that good, but not that bad also. We went Boulevard after the show, meeting up with my secondary friends too. We had dinner at a western restaurant next to Richmond, couldn’t remember what the name of that restaurant is. Our final destination was Friendship Park before heading back home.

Leon and King Hung overnight at my house tonight. We watched DOA before dozing off.

Day 3----We had breakfast at a stall nearby my house. After breakfast, we went to Cat Museum. Soon after museum, we met up with Faye and drove up to Damai Beach.
We “tapao” KFC as our lunch and had it at Damai Beach. Sitting on the bench, facing towards the sea, eating KFC is so relaxing and that time is quite windy too. We found a sexy girl on the beach.

IMU sucks??? Lol.

We spent about 1.5 hours there before going to Damai Puri, where we just had a very quick walk around before driving home. We met up with Sabrina Ting and she brought us around UNIMAS.We went to The Spring after that and had dinner at the Food Court. After dinner, we walked around The Spring. We could see there are Christmas trees everywhere in the mall. It was a tiring yet exciting day!

Day 4----King Hung went back to Sibu in the morning. Matthew brought them to eat Kueh Chap for breakfast. I met up with Leon & Matthew at noon and went to Mega Food Court at King Centre for lunch. We then went to civic centre. We took the elevator up to the top and enjoyed the Kuching view on top.
After that, we walked around inside Sarawak Club. Haha, wondering where else to go next, I brought them to my secondary school, SMK Sungai Maong. There is a new building now since I left my school in 2005. Next Matthew fetched me back to my old house at around 4.15pm. We stayed there for a while before they went back home because Leon's flight is at 7pm and it's better to be ready by 5pm. They tried the Ice-cream at Sunny Hill before heading home.
