So what now?? Stolen keys?? TRON LEGACY!!??? What? The keys to watch TRON LEGACY had been stolen? How could that even happened? Well, right here in TGV, it did happen!

It just happened so sudden!
Date & Time of Theft: 15 Nov 2010 @ 1930hours
Location: Projectionist’s Room @ TGV Cinemas
What were you all doing at that time? Probably some of us were having dinner, some stucked in traffic jams, some were relaxing at home, some were shopping outside, some were still working hard at the office...
But right here at TGV, something serious had happened, a Theft case had happened!!
Mark, the projectionist on duty the night of the theft had left the keys inside the miniature drawer rack before leaving to answer an urgent call of nature. When he returned minutes later, his work desk had been tampered with and the keys were no longer in the drawer. It was clearly a case of theft because the CCTV camera was broken and important evidence were found at the crime scene.
Key Evidence found at crime scene:
- The fluffy keychain holding the stolen keys, left behind in the drawer. No fingerprints found.
- A few strands of golden hair on the carpet
Case has so far been concluded as an inside job.
Inside Job huh? Case had been getting more and more interesting when we hear some testimonials from Mark himself and other witnesses!! :-D
Mark said:
“After locking the newly-arrived TRON: Legacy show reels in, I had to answer an urgent call of nature. Absent-mindedly, I left the keys in the drawer. When I returned about 5 minutes later, my desk had been scuffled through and the keys were gone! I immediately reported it to Mr Muthu, my manager.
I swear, I didn’t do it. I love my job and I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardise my career. And plus, I have black hair and I was wearing a white polo tee with black pants – nothing that even came close to the shade of gold!”
Personal Judgement:
Hmm...can we trust him? Black hair cannot be used as a reason of not stealing the keys! Hey, have you noticed the words "absent-mindedly"? He didn't really remember clearly that he had left the keys in the drawer!!!
Ok, fine,let's hear what his manager said.
Mr Muthu, the manager said:
“I was completing some paperwork since 6.00pm when Mark stormed in and told me that the keys were missing. I know Mark didn’t do it because he is a trustworthy employee and a man of strong religious beliefs. His only fault was his carelessness.”
Personal Judgement:
First question. How far is the place of the manager doing his paperwork from the projectionist's room? If they are near to each other, he should have heard something when the theft happened! And as I predicted, Mark is a careless person, so he would have a very high chance of misplacing his keys! But the chance of him stealing the keys might not that high since he is a trustworthy and religious man! The conclusion so far is :Could he misplaced the keys somewhere and he totally forgot it?
Since that we still havn't come out with a better conclusion, we need more witnesses! Let's hear what the security said.
Ahmad, the security guard said:
“Saya tak nampak sesiapapun masuk bilik show reel itu kecuali Mark. Pada masa kejadian, saya tidak pernah berganjak dari stesen tugasan saya. Itu Mark saya dah lama kenal. Dia tu baik. Tak mungkin dia buat. Kalau nak suspek, saya rasa mungkin itu keychain yang buat.”
Translation:
"I don't see anyone enter the projectionist's room except Mark. During the theft period, I have always stay in my duty station. I have known Mark for quite long time. He is kind and wouldn't have done such thing. If want to suspect someone, I would say that maybe the thief is the keychain."
Personal Judgement:
How far is the station from the projectionist room? If it's far how can the security guard to be so sure of number of people entering the room? Is the testimonials given by the guard reliable? Or he just don't want to lose his job by saying he never left the duty station during the crime period but actually he did? How old is the guard and does he wear any spectacles? All of these can affect his vision and the things he saw might not be true, hmm...
Let's summon another witness-the janitor!
Thurein, the Myanmarese janitor said:
“Ya, ada nampak itu Mark dalam tandas. Masa itu, saya mop lantai tandas sebab basah. Itu Mark tak ada buat pelik. Macam biasalah.”
Translation:
"Ya, I saw Mark in the toilet. At that time, I was mopping the floor because the floor is wet. Mark seemed normal to me that time, nothing suspicious!"
Personal Judgement:
Another witness that prove Mark is innocent and he did go to the toilet before the theft case happened! But, one thing to consider, was the floor made wet by someone purposely or what? Hmm...
Let see what the last witness has to say.
A-Cee, the cool 2.0 horsepower air-con in the projectionist room said:
“A-Cee didn’t see nobody in the room because A-Cee was on SLEEP mode yo! Y’know, I’m so cool sometimes, Mark has to turn me off!”
Personal Judgement:
What? Air-con can talk? How could that possible? If this non-living object had become alive, then everything else in the room has lives. So we could not exclude any objects in the room from stealing the keys too!!! Btw, the above testimonial given by the air-con was useless since he didn't see anything or maybe he lied to us, he was trying to hide something that he saw?
As days passed, more clues are being revealed! And now we had a list of suspects here. Don't be shocked when you see the list because HAHA, they are all NON-LIVING OBJECTS,lol!

Interesting huh? They all have 1 thing in commom-GOLD colour,lol! They have gender too, swt!
