A young boy going to an important soccer match decided to paint his face green, the colour of his favourite team. His team won the match and he celebrated for hours with his friends after the game. When he got home he was dismayed to discover that his face was blue and not green. Why?
Clues:
1. He was not painted a second time.
2. The paint was not affected bu ultraviolet light.
3. The paint did not dry to blue when it was applied.
4. The paintbrush was clean and had no chemicals on it.
5. The change was not a result of temperature-sensitive or light-sensitive additives.

Wah, Ying Xin, your answer is very close, but you never think of why his fsce turns blue?? Lol...
Answer is:
While he was celebrating it rained. The blue paint he had put on first was insoluble, but the yellow he put on top to create green was soluble, and had all washed off.
