IMU Cup Pool & Cheerleading!

2 more major sports left for me to fight for IMU Cup 2010. They are Pool & Cheerleading!

Pool-Competition is on 6 Oct! Our team, Phoenix will be against Pegasus. The percentage of winning is actually 50%. There are 3 subgroups-Male single 1,male single 2 and female single. I am phoenix first player while Jason is second player. Our female player is Chui Ling. I believe Jason can win easily if he plays like usual. Then my chance of winning is actually quite low ifmy opponent plays like usual and don't make any mistake. Compared the female players among 2 houses, Pegasus female should be better than ours, that's why now we are training our female players very hard, and hopefully she can win her on the competition day. Then if we are able to make it through to final, we will be meeting most probably Taurus again. Phoenix met them in group stage and surprisingly we have won them in group stage.Their female player is very strong in pool, which means if any of our phoenix guys lost, we will lose as a team. And Taurus is training hard every night now, aiks! So, should we just hope that Draco to make it to final? Maybe the chance of winning will be higher like that because Draco female player is not as great as Taurus female player.


Cheerleading-supposed to be on 8 Oct, but it is now postponed to 1 week later, 15 Oct. That means we need to train for 1 more week, arghh, tired already, haha! But it is still ok, at least we will have more time to make our cheerleading more perfect. Other houses are quite strong now. Hydra dance steps are cool (looks similar to Griffin's last year dance steps, copyright?), a lot of houses with a lot of dance moves. Phoenix's cheerleading's the last great stunt is banned because it is too high and dangerous? Aiks, Phoenix must work hard to create better dance and moves, if not we will end up losing to other houses. But in cheerleading, it is quite hard to tell who will win, so only can find out at the last minute-15 Oct :-)



Maybe will join Touch Rugby & Track & Field, will see how it goes for my house first (whether there is sufficient players). This is the last IMU Cup for me :-(

They are just so damn cool!

Well, what I would like to say is, without Digi, there is no existence of this contest, I just love Digi so much for being so generous!

Being a faithful Digi user, I always keep to my choice while most of my KL friends are using Maxis. There is one time when I even have 2 Digi numbers!

IMU Cup 2010 Progression

Phoenix got the last for IMU Cup 2010 ranking!!! :-(

This year IMU Cup it's very much different from last year. The great houses last year (Phoenix, Draco,Hydra) are all pushes to rank no .3 and last 2 houses. Taurus appeared to be like last year Hydra! But the no. of medals for each houses are quite similar and not that far apart, unlike last year.(as shown as below)-2009

Random Mixed Post

Table Tennis competition on 21 Sept, the match of Phoenix versus Griffin, trigger my same emo/disappointed feelings as when Phoenix cannot enter semi-final in darts.....sad sad. It was really a very close match, supposed to be won by Phoenix, but it didn't go as well as it should be and Griffin had entered final with Draco while Phoenix will be against Taurus for 3rd placing.

Cheer prac yesterday and today...We have limited prac left. Our progress is quite ok(but I think still need plenty of practices to make it perfect)...haiz...not yet even rehearsal the full routine. Now is like only 60% done or less...

Ran using Nike plus for the past 2 days, now my legs feel damn uncomfortable...lolz, should rest for 1 day before run again...hmm...

Matt came to visit us today, played a game of pool with him and I won him, lol..

Haih....don't know why recently so sien....ZZzzzzZZZZ!

IMU Cup Fever Continues.... Sept

5/9----Bowling + Pool Competitions

Let's talk about Bowling first...
Our fear is mainly Taurus, Pegasus and Hydra. Before the Bowling competition started, I said this to my bowling mates, haha...
This day we met at 9am and wanted to go to Endah Parade to play a warm up game first as my teammate need to play the game to warm up. But sadly after we arrived at Endah Parade, we found out that the Bowling Alley was still closed. Sigh...waited there till 10am before it opened. And the bowling match started right before we could able to play our warm up game. Therefore we are only be given a 5-min warm up time without the pins. This time our house Phoenix is represented by me, Lina, Ashley and Alex. So the first game started. I played not that good the first game, don't know why could not really focus and score, same goes to Alex. But luckily Lina managed to score 153 and Ashley 128 to save our first game. Hydra kept on shouting and cheering for the first game as they striked a lot. After the first round our standings are still under top 3 or top 4 I guess. Then second game started. This time I managed to spare and strike more than my first game and scored 156. Ashley too thumbs up to him for able to score 153 this round, saving the score lost by my other 2 teammates. After second game I guess our standing became top 4 or top 5. My other teammates were quite disencouraged but I said to everyone to forget the previous game and do the best for the last game. And when the game started, I managed to spare again. All my teammate really do quite well this time with all of our score above 115. And I have broken my old bowling score record to score 175 which I never expect I can score before this, haha...so after all the three games, I really hope it could at least help us up to top 3, but sadly Hydra third game was also not bad and we lost to them barely by 45 points, arghhh!!! So the overall standing is: 1st-Taurus (1600++), 2nd-Pegasus(1600+), 3rd-Hydra(1567), 4th-Phoenix (1522), 5th-Draco (1300++), 6th-Griffin (1300+)...arghh...damn sad. Individual 3 top bowlers are Je Vin(Taurus), Pei Jin(Hydra) and Eldwin(Taurus)...


After Bowling, we(me, Jamie and YH) chiong k at Endah Parade...quite nice to sing my voice out after so long never chiong k...

Thought Pool competition will be in Endah Parade at 4pm, who knows it is at Asia Cafe, shit no one informed me. Took taxi with Chui Ling to Asia Cafe from Endah Parade and that time we were late edy but luckily the organiser came later than us. Tried so so hard to call Jon Lee who was supposed to play for Phoenix house too but he didnt pick out the calls. Luckily we managed to get Jason Lee, who is a better/geng pool player. Haha, guess what, we beat Taurus and Hydra in the group stage...cool!! Hydra was out in the group stage coz they were in our group list. So next opponent should be Griffin or Pegasus..hmm...hopefully can beat them again and enter final!! Wohoo....
